Connor's voice was soft, but his eyes were settled in a hard stare. He understands where she's coming from, but every single part of him can't abide by such words. He understands feeling like others mean more than himself, because all he styles himself as and wants to be is a simple bartender.

"Who gives a shit 'bout bein' important or not? What matters is tha' yer here. 'Sides, most people who got their heads up their ass 'bout themselves just keep jawin' on 'nd on 'bout shit they don' know 'bout. There's jus' one you. Don' go thinkin' less of yerself 'cause ya ain't someone famous or shit like tha'."

Connor sighed as he set the glass down.

"C'mon, come 'nd dance with me. M'sure Claudio won' mind if we take a bit of time to ourselves, Miss Hatter."

He walked around the bar, before settling in front of her, offering a hand.
